It’s the end of the year and I’m in finish the To-Do List mode. That includes my reading list for the year. Time to knock out several books that other people told me I need to read and I told them I would. Saying “No” in those moments is an area of my life I may need to more disciplined in– But working on discipline issues is something I’ll worry about in January. Here’s what I’m, reading in December and why.
This is the final book of our church’s annual reading list. Hopefully I’m not the only person in my church who’s still working on it.
I’ve been a wear it on my sleeve fan of the Narnia Series for years now. People keep telling me to read Lewis’ other fantasy work. So, time to pay up. Three books in one: Out of The Silent Planet, Perelandra, and That Hideous Strength.
The latest entry of the IX Marks Building Healthy Church Series. Every other book they’ve released (This one makes 10) has been gold. I’m going to go ahead and assume that this will be too.
Another entry into the “Yes, I will read that for you” category. We’ll see what Olson has to say about something that I think a lot of other people are already seeing. Perhaps he will have some helpful solutions to offer.
